A huge fire broke out at a scrapyard in Otley, sending plumes of black smoke above the town.<br /><br />The blaze, that was reported shortly after 3.30pm on August 12, happened at a site on Bradford Road.<br /><br />Firefighters from five stations across the region rushed to the scene to battle flames using foam and large jets.<br /><br />Residents were urged to keep their doors and windows closed as thick smoke continued to billow across the sky.<br /><br />(Footage: Graham Yaffe)
