Brussels rolls out massive flower carpet in middle of historic square<br /><br />Brussels' historic square is covered with a colorful carpet of almost a million flowers on Aug. 15 2024, as part of the 'Flower carpet' event 23rd edition. This 70-meter long and 24-meter wide flower carpet, designed by street artist Oceane Cornille, is called 'Rhizome'. More than 100 volunteers spent around six hours creating this piece. The carpet will be on display until August 18.
