A heatwave in China left vehicles looking as if they were about to explode. <br /><br />Video filmed in Enshi in Hubei province, in June shows spherical bubbles on the hood and doors of a purple vehicle. <br /><br />The unusual phenomenon was caused by record-breaking temperatures in the country.<br /><br />With the heat, the protective films on car exteriors swelled up, earning them the nickname of "pregnant cars."
