This is the dramatic moment two cars crashed onto a pavement just metres away from cafe customers who were sitting outside.<br /><br />The CCTV footage from Simple Food and Coffee in Buckhurst, Essex, shows the cars, thought to be a silver Mercedes B-Class and a red Jaguar, veering onto the pavement.<br /><br />Frightened customers can be seen jumping up from their seats in the outside dining area as the cars crashed with some running to help the drivers.<br /><br />Essex Police confirmed it was called to reports of a multi-vehicle collision in Queens Road, Buckhurst, at 1.25pm on Monday (August 19) but no-one was hurt.<br /><br />A video taken of the aftermath by cafe manager Serhat Ayaz shows paving slabs had been uprooted from the ground and another car had been smashed into.
