Bristol Beacon is set to host BBC Proms over the long weekend (August 24 to 26).<br /><br />This will be the first time the full-scale event will be held in the South West.<br /><br />To launch BBC Proms, a lively ensemble led by marching musicians from Bristol’s Jump Street Band, supported by members of the Proms team, Bristol Beacon staff and supporters, greeted commuters at the harbourside with a special celebratory musical medley Proms parade.<br />
