The third solo album of German jazz-rock guitarist Volker Kriegel "Inside: Missing link" of 1972 was a double album. The first album of two contains four extended pieces drived in a hip of jazz and rock with pulsating arrangements and disctintive solos. The second album moves into English pop rock mode with etno influences, with mellow trombone tones, intense guitar and sax solos, exotic warmth of Indian influences and Brazilian melancholies.

Volker Kriegel - acoustic guitar, electric guitar, sitar.
John Taylor - electric piano.
Alan Skidmore soprano saxophone, tenor saxophone.
Heiz Sauer - tenor saxophone.
Albert Mangelsdorff - trombone.
Eberhard Weber - bass, electric bass, bass guitar.
Cees See - flute, percussion, vocals, effects.
John Marshall, Peter Baumeister - drums.

Slum on wheels.
The "E" again.
Zanzibar.
Missing link.
Fur Hector.
Remis.
Tarang.
Lasti plemon.
Janellas Aberts.
Plonk whenever.
Definitely suspicious.
Finale.
