A woman hasn't eaten a full meal for more than a year - due to a rare condition which has left her with a paralysed stomach. <br /><br />Addeson Stanley, 20, first realised something was wrong when she started getting full quickly, experiencing nausea, vomiting and abdominal bloating in May 2021.<br /><br />She had recently come down with epstein-barr virus and initially put her symptoms down to that. <br /><br />But when she also lost 35lbs in six months Addeson went to see a doctor - who assured her it was likely just the virus "passing through her body".<br /><br />But in July 2021, two months on, her symptoms persisted so Addeson went to see a specialist.
