A Europa Conference League play-off clash was suspended after police evacuated the entire away stand.<br /><br />Police intervened after flares were thrown into the home stands.<br /><br />As reported by The Sun, play was stopped in the 65th minute, with players instructed to head back to the dressing rooms.<br /><br />It has been claimed that hooligans supporting the away club subsequently clashed with police. <br /><br />Play was eventually able to resume and the match was completed.<br /><br />The incident occurred during the tie between Olimpija Ljubljana and Rijeka in Slovenia.<br /><br />The offending Rijeka fans were escorted out of the stadium by police, with play resuming following a 26-minute delay. <br /><br />After a 1-1 draw in the first leg, Olimpija secured a 5-0 victory in the second leg to prevail 6-1 on aggregate.<br /><br />Raul Florucz opened the scoring and Thalisson Charles hit a brace, with Dino Kojic and Pedro Lucas also finding the net.
