He says the government has so many laws and regulations that if we continue at this rate then “eventually everything's illegal.”<br /><br />A perfect example of this is the time that Elon Musk’s SpaceX was fined $140,000 for cooling a launch pad with drinking water.<br /><br />Yes, really.<br /><br />Although the EPA agreed there was no real damage, they still fined SpaceX because they didn't have a permit to dump drinking water.<br /><br />Musk called this absurd, given the site is in an area that gets heavy rain regularly. The EPA even threatened to delay future SpaceX launches unless they paid the $140,000 fine for an incident that caused no actual harm.
