A polar bear was caught peering in on holiday-goers in the middle of the night.<br /><br />Sigurd Berger Bekkelund, 23, was on a weekend trip to Svalbard, a group of islands north of Norway, in April when he heard a bump in the night.<br /><br />Sigurd and his friend were staying in a remote cabin on the island of Agardh and were lucky enough to be awake at 1:45 am when the bear approached.<br /><br />Video shows the polar bear sniffing around the cabin's window, mere metres away from those inside.<br /><br />Sigurd, an electrician from Norway, said: "This was the first time I have seen a polar bear at close range like this, so I enjoyed every second of it.
