Lawmakers weigh up Taylor Swift's support for Harris<br /><br />Democrats such as California's Gavin Newsom and Pennsylvania's Josh Shapiro talked up pop star Taylor Swift's endorsement of Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday, September 10.<br /><br />Swift made the endorsement in a post on Instagram and said she will vote for the US Vice President in the Nov. 5 US election which polls show to be very tight.<br /><br />The endorsement is the biggest for Harris from the entertainment industry. Many Hollywood actors, producers and filmmakers have said they viewed Harris, a native Californian, as their hometown candidate.<br /><br />Swift has supported Democrats in the past.
