Hurricane Francine is battling through Louisiana with winds of 100 mph.<br /><br />The storm made landfall in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana, on Wednesday (Sept 11) evening as a Category 2 hurricane.<br /><br />The storm has already knocked out electricity to more than a quarter-million residents and is threatening widespread floods.<br /><br />Footage from a shrimp boat in Dulac, a city right by the water, shows crashing waves and intense winds.<br /><br />Additional footage from Houma shows heavy rainfall and trees bending in the wind.
