Second day of heavy flooding in Czech Republic, with more rain on the way<br /><br />Heavy rains caused severe flooding across the northern Czech Republic on Sunday, September 15, with rivers overflowing and some areas facing the most destructive floods in decades.<br /><br />In Lipova Lazne, local resident Pavel Bily said it was the worst he'd seen since 1997.<br /><br />The fire service reported evacuating 1,900 people by Sunday morning, with many roads impassable.
