Apple's new iPhone 16 draws crowd at unveiling in Beijing <br /><br />Customers queued outside an Apple store on a rainy morning in Beijing's CBD to pick up the new iPhone 16 as it unveils in China on Sept. 20, 2024. Approximately 300 customers showed up continuously at the store to pick up the iPhones they ordered online. Apple's new smartphone launch in China has been overshadowed by the fact that it has yet to announce an AI partner in the country to power the iPhone 16 series.
