Iran's ancient site of Persepolis threatened by stone-eating organisms<br /><br />Conservationists at Persepolis, Iran's most iconic ancient site, are waging a delicate battle against an unlikely adversary: tiny but persistent fungi eroding the millenia-old monuments.
