17 candidates for senator, 15 party-list groups file CoCs on first day -- Comelec<br /><br />Chairman George Erwin Garcia announces the successful first day of the filing of the certificates of candidacy (CoC) at The Manila Hotel on Oct. 1, 2024. Seventeen candidates for senator and 15 party-list organizations/political parties submitted their CoCs and were accepted by the Comelec. Others were rejected as they either failed to submit or did not comply with the requirements.
