Footage from a resident’s third-floor apartment shows enormous damage from Hurricane Helene in Swannanoa, North Carolina.<br /><br />A shipping container stunned onlookers when it floated rapidly down the town and was crushed like a soda can upon hitting a large pylon.<br /><br />Floodwaters destroyed the Asheville Tea Company building, though all employees are said to be safe, but the city remains without water or power.<br /><br />The footage was taken on Friday, September 27th 2024.
