Parking fees could be introduced at a popular scenic beach in a bid to stop it being overrun by a 'squatter camp' of campervans.<br /><br />Overnight charges are being looked at as an option to stop drivers setting up for long periods at the Shingle Bank on Kent's Isle of Sheppey - which residents say is worse than ever for long-staying campervans.<br /><br />For nearly six months locals have been calling for restrictions to be put in place, fearing the visitor hotspot, between Sheerness and Minster, is turning into an 'encampment'. <br /><br />However, many campervan owners say argue they don't deserve the blame, and that other beach-goers leave more rubbish.
