A former police officer has pleaded guilty to sex offences after he was confronted by paedophile hunters outside his home.<br /><br />Christopher Sheldrick, 56, was arrested on September 29 after being approached by a member of The Ghosts Online Child Protection Team.<br /><br />Sheldrick, of Gorleston, Norfolk, was then charged with engaging in sexual communication with a child.<br /><br />He was also charged with attempting to breach a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and failing to comply with notification requirements of the sex offender register.<br /><br />He was remanded and appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court on October 5 where he pleaded guilty to all three offences.
