Sick passengers are being airlifted to safety from a cruise ship stranded off the coast of Florida - as Hurricane Milton heads directly for them.<br /><br />The videos were filmed today (08/10) onboard the Sun Princess cruise ship that left Southampton, England, 16 days ago on September 23, 2024. <br /><br />They were due to dock in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, tomorrow morning (09/10) but due to the category four hurricane it was moved forward to today.<br /><br />Due to the hurricane, Port Everglades - where the ship would stop - is closed and the ship is stranded five miles off the coast of Florida for the storm.<br /><br />The sick passengers are currently being taken by helicopter but it is not known where they will be taken.
