Passengers on board a cruise ship has been diverted from Florida to Cuba to avoid a direct hit from Hurricane Milton.<br />The Sun Princess, which set off from Southampton, England, 16 days ago on September 23, 2024, has been diverted to the north coast of Cuba.<br />Sick passengers are being airlifted to safety from a cruise ship stranded off the coast of Florida - as Hurricane Milton heads directly for them.<br />The videos were filmed today (08/10) onboard the Sun Princess cruise ship that left Southampton, England, 16 days ago on September 23, 2024. <br /><br />They were due to dock in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, tomorrow morning (09/10) but due to the category four hurricane it was moved forward to today.<br /><br />Due to the hurricane, Port Everglades - where the ship would stop - is closed and the ship is stranded five miles off the coast of Florida for the storm.<br />The sick passengers are currently being taken by helicopter but it is not known where they will be taken.<br />SWSMevacuation - by Ben Barry
