(AP) — A devastating tornado outbreak swept through St. Lucie County on Wednesday, leaving a trail of destruction and claiming the lives of at least four people, according to local officials.<br /><br />The tornadoes, which touched down in the afternoon, brought widespread damage and chaos to the area, with multiple homes and businesses destroyed or severely damaged.<br /><br />"We've lost four members of our community," said St. Lucie County Sheriff Keith Pearson.
