References to popular movies / events from around 59 years in the future as well as an actor who may resemble western star Clint Eastwood (Dirty Harry) <br />may appear in classic alien invasion film The Day The Earth Stood Still (1951). <br /><br />In the first 10 minutes of the movie the flying saucer lands and people gather to catch a glimpse of the spaceship from another world. Police & military are there and at around the 10 minute 34 second mark a group of army soldiers can be seen in front of a tank. The soldier on the right (circled in red) may resemble Eastwood. Officially, Eastwood is not credited with acting in this film.<br /><br />The Day The Earth Stood Still was remade in 2008 with Keanu Reeves & Jennifer Connelly. As I point out in other videos on my channel, in movies which are remade, anecdotal clues to popular films, actors and events from the future year the remake is produced / released may appear in the original, regardless of time. Clint Eastwood directed and starred in the widely acclaimed Gran Torino in 2008. <br /><br />Connections: Eastwood & actor Hugh Marlowe of The Day The Earth Stood Still appeared together in S4.E21 ("The Pitchwagon") of TV western series Rawhide in 1962.<br /><br />(A soldier who resembles Kung Fu (1972) star David Carradine may also appear in the above mentioned scene as I pointed out in another video.)
