"Molly" <br /><br />Ray Miller's Black And White Melody Boys <br /><br />1921 <br /><br />Ray Miller was an American bandleader. His most successful years were from 1920 to 1925. He was especially active in the Okeh recording studio. <br /><br />He was born in 1896. <br /><br />He died in 1974. <br /><br />Around 1919 Miller formed a jass band called the Black and White Melody Boys but then formed a more conventional dance band. <br /><br />Miller left the music business sometime after 1930. <br /><br />"Molly" Ray Miller's Black And White Melody Boys (1921) = flapper dance music for The Great Gatsby.
