A quick-thinking railway worker saved a man’s life after he slipped between the platform and a moving train. <br /><br />The dramatic rescue occurred at Barddhaman Junction Railway Station in West Bengal, India, on Monday (Oct 28) as the Ganga Sagar Express pulled into Platform No. 5.<br /><br />CCTV footage shows Shailendra Choudhary, 58 from Madhubani, Bihar, holding on to the moving train after he lost his balance while deboarding the train. <br /><br />Railway Protection Officer (RPF) Nibha Kumari, who was on passenger security duty with her colleague Yogesh Kumar, spotted Choudhary just as he fell. <br /><br />Footage shows Kumari sprinting toward him and managing to pull him to safety in the nick of time.<br /><br />Choudhary only sustained minor injuries to his legs and declined medical assistance.
