This is the grim moment a couple spotted a rat running along their car bonnet - as they drove along a motorway.<br /><br />Unfazed by the speed, the rodent was seen scurrying around the exterior of the vehicle and along the car's right windows. <br /><br />The couple was driving down a busy motorway in Xi'an, northwestern China, last week (Oct 22) when they first heard a noise .<br /><br />Unable to find a way in, the rodent returned to bonnet before scuttling back into the engine.
