New Zealand's parliament was disrupted when Māori MPs performed a haka to protest a controversial bill.

The bill proposes changes to how the 184-year-old Treaty between the British Crown and Māori people is interpreted. Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke, a Māori MP, led the haka while tearing up a copy of the bill. Members from her party, Te Pāti Māori, as well as others and some members of the public gallery, joined the protest.

#NewZealand #Maori #MP #Parliament
