June 6th, 2023, the Summer Ukraine Counter-Offensive is going very well. Ukraine is winning for sure, and will win. How do I now? Well I know that Ukraine is winning for sure BECAUSE Russia just blew up the Nova Kakhovka dam. <br /> <br />So you might say: “Pastor Burt, what do you mean that blowing up the dam was a good thing. Now we have flooding in cities and town leading along the Dnipro River leading to Kherson. This is terrible.” No, beloved this is indeed a good thing. You have to be patient. You have to look at the long-term results of that dam being blown up now, and not later. <br /><br />Look, if the counter-offensive had been started in Spring when the ground was soft and muddy, then then blowing up the dam would have been a disaster. Many civilians would have died, and with the freezing temperatures for sure returning at night, the loss of life would have been terrible. <br /><br />But now it is actually the beginning of Summer. The ground is not soft. The rain has stopped. There is no snow. So yes, cities and towns are going to be swamped for possibly four days, which is an inconvenience, but after those four days, those flooded cities and towns will be returning to normal. <br /><br />However, for the Russians blowing up the dam means that Russia has conceded victory to Ukraine, not maybe but absolutely. First of all, where is much of the Russian army right now? The southern part of the Russian army is on the East side of the Dnipro River, and that Russian army is right now just as flooded out as the civilians are. Realize what that means: About half of the Russian army is fixed, they can’t move, down in the Southern part of Ukraine. <br /><br />But the real news is, by blowing the Dam, that kills the water supply to Crimea! Without water coming from the Dnipro River now for many months to come, Russia has a humanitarian problem in Crimea. All Russians living in Crimea as well as their military have to bail right now; they must abandon their homes and positions and get out of Dodge because they can’t live without drinking water. So instead of fighting Ukraine to stop the counter offensive, Russia is now going to have to finance and implement a mass exodus of their people out of Crimea right now back to Russia. This is ongoing and it will take months. What this means is that in the long run Russia just lost Crimea, and that means that they have already lost the entire war – and their military knows this – that there is now no chance for Russia to win this war, with or without nuclear weapons. <br /><br />Meanwhile, what about Ukraine’s army? Well, the Ukraine army is just fine.
