Assam: First Seaplane successfully lands at Pandu Port in Guwahati <br /><br />Guwahati, November 15: M/s de Havilland Canada in collaboration with the Ministry of Civil Aviation conducted a demonstration flight of a Seaplane at Pandu Port from LGBI Airport in Guwahati.<br /><br />It was the first demonstration seaplane to successfully land on the Brahmaputra River at Pandu port in Guwahati.<br /><br />The objective of the program is to demonstrate maritime aircraft operations capability. <br />This will increase tourism potential in the state<br /><br />Several dignitaries including Tourism Minister Jayant Mallabarua reached Pandu Port in a demonstration flight.<br /><br />A crowd of people with children gathered at Pandu Ghat to see the seaplane demonstration lands.
