Planet Mars lands in east London museum

Mars landed in east London on Saturday, November 23, when a giant representation of the red planet went on show in the historic Painted Hall of the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, in the eastern part of the capital.

Under the gaze of kings and gods depicted in murals that date from the 18th century, the seven-meter (21-foot) artwork spun slowly, showing high resolution NASA imagery of the Martian surface. Each centimeter of the sculpture represents 10 kilometers of the surface of the planet.

Mars is on show until January 20, 2025.

REUTERS VIDEO

Subscribe to The Manila Times Channel - https://tmt.ph/YTSubscribe
Visit our website at https://www.manilatimes.net

Follow us:
Facebook - https://tmt.ph/facebook
Instagram - https://tmt.ph/instagram
Twitter - https://tmt.ph/twitter
DailyMotion - https://tmt.ph/dailymotion

Subscribe to our Digital Edition - https://tmt.ph/digital

Check out our Podcasts:
Spotify - https://tmt.ph/spotify
Apple Podcasts - https://tmt.ph/applepodcasts
Amazon Music - https://tmt.ph/amazonmusic
Deezer: https://tmt.ph/deezer
Tune In: https://tmt.ph/tunein

#TheManilaTimes
#worldnews
#mars
