Discovery of 10-million year-old fossil in Peru redefines history of crocodile species<br /><br />Paleontologists unveil a fossil, believed to be over 10 million years old, of an ancient crocodilian species in Lima on Nov. 28, 2024. The fossil, discovered in Peru's fossil-rich desert region of Ica, lacks part of its left limb and tail but is notable for its overall preservation quality.
