Luke Littler is not the only youngster making a name for himself in the darts world.

On Sunday night, 12-year-old Jayden Walker performed superbly at the Red Dragon MODUS Super Series Influencer Darts Champions Showdown.

He teamed up with YouTuber AngryGinge - who had picked him out of the crowd to play alongside him at the previous event - and they went on to win the pairs title.

Walker took out an impressive 145 finish - by pinning treble 20, treble 15, and double top - during a quarter-final win over Fallon Sherrock and podcaster Jaackmaate.

The unlikely duo then beat TikTok star George Scaife and pro player Adam Lipscombe in the semis before facing Charlie Murphy and three-time BDO world champion Glen Durrant in the final.

A best-of-five final went all the way to a deciding leg, which Walker kicked off with a crucial 180 to help deliver a memorable win.

Speaking afterward, Walker said: 'Amazing, I wasn't expecting to win it.

'But I also know how good my partner is on the practice board, so I thought we had a great chance.'

AngryGinge added: 'It was all down to him in the early stages.

'He carried me through the first two rounds and then we both played a part in the last one.

'That 180 that he hit in the last leg was fantastic.'

Explaining how their partnership had been formed, AngryGinge continued: 'It's a great journey.

'I didn't even know who Jayden was when I invited up [onto the stage at the last event].

'I thought he was just someone who had come down to watch. And then he nearly checked out 76 or something and I thought, "I've got a player here."

'To be partnered with him, I was buzzing. And then obviously I heard the news last night that he beat Luke Humphries and averaged 102, so he's amazing.'

Walker's win over Humphries - who is the current PDC world champion - came in Portsmouth on Saturday in an exhibition match. He beat Cool Hand 2-1.

But speaking on Sunday, Walker said that his pairs title was a bigger achievement than beating the world champion.

Asked where his triumph with AngryGinge ranked among his darting successes, he replied: 'At the top.

'It's the best thing I've ever achieved.'
