The Malaysian Immigration Department has expanded its autogate facility to visitors from 53 additional countries, announced Datuk Seri Dr Shamsul Anuar Nasarah.<br /><br />During Question Time in the Dewan Rakyat on Monday (Dec 2), the Deputy Home Minister explained that the expansion includes 26 European Union (EU) countries, 17 non-EU European countries, six Arab nations, and four other countries namely Canada, Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan.<br /><br />Shamsul Anuar also noted that the Home Ministry is exploring a more efficient system to streamline immigration checks, including introducing quick response (QR) codes at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).<br /><br />WATCH MORE: https://thestartv.com/c/news<br />SUBSCRIBE: https://cutt.ly/TheStar<br />LIKE: https://fb.com/TheStarOnline
