Damage inside South Korean parliament after lawmakers reject martial law <br /><br />Damaged were visible inside South Korea's National Assembly building on early Wednesday, December 4, following a martial law declaration by President Yoon Suk Yeol. <br /><br />Later on Wednesday, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol said he would move to lift a martial law declaration he had imposed just hours before, honoring a parliamentary vote against the measure. <br /><br />Yoon declared martial law on Tuesday, December 3, to thwart "anti-state forces" among his opponents.
