Japan sake-brewing joins UNESCO intangible heritage <br /><br />UNESCO adopts on Dec. 4, 2024 traditional techniques to produce Japanese sake brewing in its intangible cultural heritage list, a move the country hopes will boost new generations’ interest and consumption of the ancient beverage.
