Seventy-five firefighters are battling a blaze that broke out at an apartment building on Main Street, Kirkby Lonsdale, Cumbria, early Sunday.<br /><br />Emergency crews were called at 5:45am, and by 9:45am, thick smoke continued to rise from the scene.<br /><br />No injuries have been reported, but residents have been evacuated and reception centres established.<br /><br />Main Street remains closed, and today's Christmas market has been cancelled.
