Britain's second Dutch-style roundabout opened without a hitch today - despite previous fears it would cause confusion. <br /><br />The new road layout in the West Bar area Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK is designed to give priority to pedestrians and cyclists.<br /><br />Zebra crossings have been installed on each arm of the roundabout and there is a one-way segregated cycle track, so vehicles are required to give way at all exits.
