South Koreans maintain protest in Seoul to impeach President Yoon<br /><br />Thousands of demonstrators in Seoul brave the cold once more to demand South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol be impeached on Dec. 9, 2024, saying it is not enough to just apologize for trying to impose martial law last week. (As of posting time, Yoon is still president.) Yoon survived an impeachment vote in parliament on Dec. 7 after his botched attempt at imposing martial law last Tuesday Dec. 3 and tens of thousands of South Koreans then demanded rallied to demand his resignation.
