A former Premier League striker scored a superb goal in Serie A on Friday night.<br /><br />The forward hadn't found the net in his previous eight matches but managed to get on the scoresheet spectacularly. <br /><br />Before making the move to Italy last summer, the player had spent his entire club career in England.<br /><br />He scored the only goal of the game as Torino won 1-0 against Empoli. <br /><br />Torino are in eleventh place in Serie A following their win, while Empoli are 10th.<br /><br />The ex-Premier League star also received the player of the match award. <br /><br />Former Southampton striker Che Adams scored from near the halfway line as he helped Torino to prevail.<br /><br />Adams has scored five goals since signing for Torino, although this was his first goal for the club since September. <br /><br />Adams joined Torino on a three-year contract. He previously had spells at Sheffield United and Birmingham.<br /><br />In addition, Adams has scored six goals in 35 caps for Scotland.
