This is the moment a car full of suspected thieves mounted a pavement in a bid to evade unmarked police cars.<br /><br />Josh Dee was driving home after doing some Christmas shopping in southeast London with his mum when he witnessed the scene. <br /><br />The 17-year-old, who recorded the chase on cameras in his car, said he heard a white car - believed to be a Mitsubishi Outlander - later crashed after being chased by nearly ten police cars. <br /><br />The car, a part of which is seen hanging from the right side, is seen driving along the pavement and narrowly avoids a pedestrian before rejoining the road and speeding away. <br /><br />Seconds later, an unmarked police car mounts the same pavement in pursuit of the car.<br /><br />Scotland Yard said the vehicle pursued was suspected of having been in a "high-value theft". <br /><br />The four people in the car were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving and robbery.
