Lava flows from Kilauea after eruption in Hawaii

Following the most recent eruption of the Kilauea volcano on Hawaii's Big Island on Dec. 22, 2024, satellite images show how lava has spread around the crater. The US Geological Survey (USGS) said in its Dec. 26 volcano notice that the eruptions have paused, with lava flows diminishing, but that a resumption in activity 'was possible in the coming days, but not certain.' The volcano is in orange watch, the USGS said, as some hazards from the eruption like volcanic gases remain.

MAXAR TECHNOLOGIES/REUTERS

Subscribe to The Manila Times Channel - https://tmt.ph/YTSubscribe

Visit our website at https://www.manilatimes.net

Follow us:
Facebook - https://tmt.ph/facebook
Instagram - https://tmt.ph/instagram
Twitter - https://tmt.ph/twitter
DailyMotion - https://tmt.ph/dailymotion

Subscribe to our Digital Edition - https://tmt.ph/digital

Check out our Podcasts:
Spotify - https://tmt.ph/spotify
Apple Podcasts - https://tmt.ph/applepodcasts
Amazon Music - https://tmt.ph/amazonmusic
Deezer: https://tmt.ph/deezer
Tune In: https://tmt.ph/tunein

#TheManilaTimes
#tmtnews
#kilaueavolcano
#hawaii
