Doctors at Niloufer Hospital Save Critically Ill Sudanese Baby<br /><br />Doctors at Niloufer Hospital in Hyderabad successfully treated and revived a critically ill baby boy from Sudan, providing free treatment for a month. The baby, born with severe health complications, including a blood infection, brain infection, and lung issues, was discharged fully recovered on Tuesday.<br /><br />A Sudanese couple, who traveled to Hyderabad a year ago for IVF treatment at a corporate hospital, welcomed their son a month ago. However, his condition deteriorated immediately after birth. Initially treated in an ICU for six days, the couple ran out of funds and sought help from Niloufer Hospital.<br /><br />The doctors at Niloufer admitted the baby and provided comprehensive care at no cost. Neonatologist Dr. Swapna confirmed that the baby had made a full recovery. The hospital also arranged food for the parents during their stay.<br /><br />The baby’s mother, a 43-year-old woman who had experienced five miscarriages before, expressed her gratitude to the doctors, stating that Niloufer gave her a reason to hope again.<br /><br />Hospital Superintendent Dr. Ravi Kumar and Health and Family Welfare Commissioner RV Karnan praised the medical team for their extraordinary efforts in saving the baby’s life.<br /><br />#Hyderabad #Sudan
