Videos show "apocalyptic" fires creeping out of Pacific Palisades towards surrounding neighbourhoods - fanned by high winds.<br /><br />Locals are awake through the night watching the fire tear through the neighbourhood of Pacific Palisades moving into the Malibu area.<br /><br />Video taken by Sarah Moore, 29, from inside the Malibu area shows the fire moving across grasslands and hills, away from the Palisades.<br /><br />The content creator who lives in Studio City, described the situation as "apocalyptic" and said she has never experienced anything like this in her life.<br /><br />"Everyone is scared," she said.<br /><br />"I saw a video where hundreds of people abandoned their cars on the Pacific Coast Highway.<br /><br />"It looked very apocalyptic, I have never seen footage like that in my life.<br /><br />"We have never had a fire like this - it is the worst I have ever seen.<br /><br />"It is very windy outside, there are no cars on the road - it is very scary out there.<br /><br />"In my area, we haven't been told anything, I do have a friend from Pasadena staying with me as she was told to evacuate.<br /><br />"Another fire just sparked up in Woodland Hills which is being evacuated right now and that area isn't too far from here."
