Guests stranded at the Tan Hill Inn in North Yorkshire since Saturday were rescued on Tuesday after snowploughs reached the remote pub.<br /><br />Four guests stayed behind, including two German tourists and a dog.<br /><br />Despite running out of sausages and Malbec wine, the pub had enough supplies to last 40 days.<br /><br />Staff kept guests entertained, and the inn, famed for its isolation, has faced similar weather challenges before.
