Thousands of Bristolians gathered for this year’s Bedminster Winter Lantern Parade (January 18).<br /><br />The free event lit the streets of Bedminster with a spectacular lantern parade celebrating the theme of ‘Bristol Together’.<br /><br />The lanterns were created by the community including primary schools and featured butterflies, birds and the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge among many other forms.<br /><br />The lively Bristol Samba band, Jump Street and City of Bristol Pipers and Drums brought the tunes of the parade.<br /><br />The large parade of illuminated lanterns made its way through North Street, Cannon Street and South Street.<br /><br /><br /><br />
