Lawmaker protests bill imposing death penalty for corruption <br /><br />La Union Rep. Paolo Ortega on Jan. 22, 2025 comments on a bill filed by Zamboanga Rep. Khymer Adan Olaso, which would impose the death penalty by firing squad for those found guilty by the Sandiganbayan of corruption, plunder, graft, and malversation.
