Snowy paws and hooves: Houston Zoo animals delight in rare snowfall<br /><br />Animals residing at the Houston Zoo were delighted on Jan. 21, 2025 by a rare snowfall, with some experiencing this climate event for the first time. The Zoo in Texas was among the places that had to close due to record snowfall. According to its statement, 66 staff members remained at the premises to care for the animals. It reopened on Jan. 23.
