Embarking once again on a journey marked by grim familiarity, I found myself departing Heraklion Harbor on September 10, 2024. In Neapolis Penitentiary, under deplorable conditions, I endured my seventh unwarranted incarceration, incarcerated for two months without due process 😔, after forcible removal from the UNHCR office entrance on July 18.<br /><br />Denied court hearings and legal aid, I faced bleak uncertainty, my only guiding light the hope of reclaiming my protest site and belongings left vulnerable outside UNHCR. Upon arriving at the harbor, barriers of bureaucracy loomed; subjected to hours of dehumanizing treatment 😡 by shipping companies requiring non-existent clearance, the Coast Guard compounded the humiliation by directing me repeatedly to a desolate building.<br /><br />Liberation only came through the intercession of terminal security, affirming my prison-issued documentation’s sufficiency.
