Once a thriving hub of craftsmanship, the Leather Tannery part of Leather School since 1937 at Government Polytechnic College, Bandra stood as a one-of-its-kind learning space where students honed their skills in leather crafting, processing, and innovation. This unique facility provided hands-on exposure to transforming rawhide into refined leather—teaching students the art of tanning, treating, and designing.<br /><br />Now demolished, or sent for redevelopment as they say.
