Ukraine has launched a new wave of drone attacks on Russian oil refineries, sparking massive fires and fuel disruptions. Overnight, eight drones hit the Volgograd oil refinery, causing a fire despite Russian air defenses. Another Lukoil refinery in Nizhny Novgorod was also targeted, though Lukoil denies any damage. Meanwhile, Yaroslavl saw four more drones destroyed before impact.<br /><br />This marks another escalation in Ukraine’s strategy to cripple Russia’s war efforts by hitting key fuel infrastructure.
